Hallo!

Das Virus ist wohl erstmalig 2011 – Deutschland – bei Amseln nachgewiesen. Dann gabs eine Infektion beim Menschen. In 2013 und 2014 ist es still geworden um das Virus. Es hat aber wohl sehr vielen Amseln das Leben gekostet. Dummerweise verbreitet es sich nicht nur über tropische Mitbringsel Mücken, sondern auch unsere heimischen Mücken können es verbreiten, wenn sie einen infizierten Vogel angepiekt haben.
Bei uns im Weserbergland gings damals auch durch die Presse weil zahlreiche tote Krähen gefunden wurden. Der Verdacht ging auch auf das Virus. Weiss leider nicht mehr, ob es das tatsächlich auch war.
Ich denke mal, kein Grund zur Panik.
